It is finally cold here!!! It seems like it took forever for fall weather to arrive. I have still been wearing boots and scarves, even though it's been 80 degrees or more every day... But so what! It's, calendar-speaking, fall. But this weekend a cold front came through and gave us some chilly weather! Perhaps we have skipped autumn weather and gone straight to winter, but hey, it's still cooler.
I love fall/winter: boots, scarves, sweaters, fleece, thick socks, house shoes, warm colors, hot drinks, cinnamon, apples, pumpkin cookies (from Jason's mom!!!), pecan tassies (from my Granny!), crunchy leaves, blankets, bonfires.
